After race at Bellewstown Wed, 30th Sep, 2026 (1st)  She's unbelievable! She's just a very good mare, very sound and so easy to train. She got a great ride off Adam. He actually rang me a couple of weeks ago and he said he was interested in coming in to ride out. Fair play to him, he actually met me on the beach on Sunday morning when it was teeming with rain. Only he said he was going to be there, I probably would have turned the box around as the rain was that bad. He was in my yard on Monday morning, and he was saying about Arch. I said she wasn't going to get in as she was eight on the ballot. He was in the right place at the right time. I'm not actually sure where he lives, but I wouldn't say he is too close to Cavan. He is well able to ride. One of the lads in the yard spotted him and said to keep an eye on him, that he might be interested. Hopefully, that is the start of something because he is going to come into me a couple of days a week hopefully. He seems to be a good rider. The plan for a long time now has been to go for the premier handicap in Leopardstown. She won it a couple of years ago. She was out of the handicap that day. That is probably going to put her up enough just to sneak in at the bottom of it. Patrick Magee

After race at Killarney Wed, 15th Jul, 2026 (1st)  Unbelievable. It’s some team effort and I don’t think in the past few days I’ve been giving them enough credit,. I’ve been down here, I was down with two horses last night, I’m not even at home. Emily Fleming and all the girls in the yard, it’s a massive team effort. It’s been a bit of a whirlwind!. She was bouncing around the ring. Tacking her up we were saying ‘this is on’. You know when she’s quiet you are in trouble. It was a super ride; it’s been kind of mad stuff. It’s brilliant. Sam is a very talented kind so there were no instructions. I did just say to him to be careful as she can switch off. He said to me just there that he thought he was in trouble but she can do that and then she keeps going again. Patrick Magee

After race at Navan Sat, 11th Jul, 2026 (1st)  It is amazing! I have to thank all the staff - Emily is with me full-time, a young girl Amy from Kingscourt, and Corey McGivern is home from Australia and is in helping me out. He's a massive help. I have to thank my family, my parents and my wife. I also want to mention Fergal Harford. We work with each other, and he does most of the pre-training. I told him to take Arch Enemy, and he had her for a couple of months just to give her a change of scenery because she is getting a bit older and that. He sent her back to me and just told me, 'run her'. It made sense - there was no point letting her back into the system and maybe getting sick of it again. Fergal is a massive part of the team and I’m on the phone to him every day. Her work was okay but then she was working with that horse (Admiral Will Brown) and he was impressive. She is in at Killarney on Wednesday and she will go as she is going to get a slap for that. We’d like to get her up a few pounds to make sure we get into Galway. Patrick Magee

After race at Fairyhouse Sat, 14th Dec, 2024 (1st)  We would have been disappointed if she didn’t do that. She’s special to us as we don’t have anything in the yard like her. She’ll go to Leopardstown at Christmas and is definitely better around there than any other track in the country. There is a novice handicap and a mares' race and she will be entered in both. She is due to get a break at some stage before going back on the Flat and is very versatile ground wise. Patrick Magee

After race at Leopardstown Sun, 20th Oct, 2024 (1st)  I'm delighted and a bit in shock to be honest,. Fergal Harford that's involved with me, and does all the pre-training, has a share in her and he was keen to go for this race so I have to give most of the credit to him. . I thought she might be a little bit outclassed but he's been very keen to run her in a good race with a light weight. . She loves it here and has been second a couple of times this year. It's all worked out on the day. . Julian got some lovely splits and she was brave. Everyone that has rode her has said that she has the heart of a lion, she showed it there today. . It's massive for us to win a premier handicap with a small string, it means a lot. Patrick Magee

After race at Bellewstown Wed, 2nd Oct, 2024 (1st)  She ran very well on slow ground here as a two-year-old. I'd say the race just panned out lovely, they went a good gallop. I was watching them going down the back and they were going 32/33 the whole way down the back, so I kind of knew they were going to come back. That's what she loves. She has been running brilliant races probably in races that the pace wasn't collapsing in front. She takes a while to warm up, but she needs the pace to collapse in front of her. I ran her over 1m4f last year and she probably wasn't strong enough for it. She looks like she wants it now, she is after strengthening up. Listen, over hurdles I still think there is a good day in her. She's a great old mare and if I had a few more like her. Patrick Magee

After race at Listowel Sun, 4th Jun, 2023 (1st)  That is unexpected as I thought she'd need the run. I think Sean taking the 10lb off was the winning of it and it was a serious ride for a 10lb claimer. They went hard, he came with one run and it was a brilliant ride. Sean rode her once at Dundalk in the past and, while you're under pressure all the time to put up the top lads, Sean has been riding work for me on two-year-olds all year and is a big help. She was dropping back in trip and I knew she'd hit the line well but it's a slight bit of a shock she has won. She was a cheap purchase, has now won four times and is a little star. I'm pretty confident she will win over hurdles too. I'm based in Shercock, Co Cavan, it took four hours yesterday to come down and we stayed over last night. The owner Philip 'Nixys' Clarke owns my local bar in Bailieborough and is a big supporter of mine. I have six or seven in training. Patrick Magee

After race at Ballinrobe Mon, 20th Jun, 2022 (1st)  She’s been unlucky a few times, including under this young lad, but we stuck with him and I’m delighted for him as well. He’s a brilliant young kid and he was excellent on her there, got all the gaps and produced her on the line. He was good on her the last day as well (when hampered at Leopardstown) because he just coasted home when he knew the race was over and he told us to go again with her. She’s only small. We bought her with the idea of maybe going three-year-old hurdling and she has schooled over hurdles already so we’ll see. The horses are all running well and we had one that was only beaten five lengths in a bumper last week. Once they’re healthy and well I’m happy and we’ll keep tipping away with them. Patrick Magee

After race at Curragh Fri, 13th Aug, 2021 (1st)  She probably left it a bit late in Sligo the last day but finished well there. I thought that was a better class Nursery today. It took her a little while to get it together in maidens and was coming away slow. It’s great to see her doing it now. I’m not sure where we will go next but I think she will stay further. She’s only small but she has plenty of heart. Michael Mulvany
