The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident after passing the stands first time involving Queens Gamble, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, placed sixth, Lily Du Berlais (GB), ridden by J.J. Slevin, unplaced, and Vischio, ridden by D.E. Mullins, placed first, where it appeared Lily Du Berlais got tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Rachael Blackmore stated that she received pressure from her outside and felt it was just general bunching. J. J. Slevin stated that he rode to hold his position as he got a little pressure from his outside. D

E. Mullins stated that he got a little pressure from both sides. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Rachael Blackmore, was in breach of Rule 214 in that she had ridden carelessly, and having considered her record in this regard (first offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended Rachael Blackmore for two racedays

Stone-Walsh, unplaced, Qualimita (FR), ridden by S. Ewing, placed third, Thisistheway, ridden by D.J. O'Keeffe, placed fifth, Straight Home, ridden by P. Townend, unplaced, Kimy (FR), ridden by J. Coen, placed second, Deons Diamond, ridden by G.B. Noonan, unplaced, Arch Enemy, ridden by J
