After race at Dundalk Tue, 26th May, 2026 (1st)  He enjoyed bossing them - all ours were a wee bit flat this past while. The one (Battle Borne) in the first race was second and ran a nice race, so they are coming back. What he does is break well from the stalls. He had a bad draw, so Luke decided to try and get him out and get him into a good position. He probably didn't realise he was as far in front, but he needed it in the end. He ran well to the line, so it gives him a nice summer scheme. We will follow the same route as last year and maybe go to the Curragh with him, that's the plan. That's a big boost for him, even a confidence booster for him and for us all!. He's a smashing horse and he gives it his all. Luke did the fractions well. He texted me earlier in the week for the ride and is a smashing lad. Conor (McKenna, son) never misses it. He'll be jumping around the bed in Australia, it's late there! Patrick J McKenna

After race at Curragh Sat, 12th Apr, 2025 (1st)  That’s lovely, to come to the Curragh and win one of these races. We’d be content to compete alone. He’s a fine wee horse and that’s his third win for me. He has strengthened up a bit and hopefully he’s not finished yet. His form is rock solid and we’re lucky to have him, let’s see how far he can go. We won’t be as hard on him as we were last year. He picked up an injury last year and was off for a while before coming back and winning at Dundalk. That’s Rory’s third winner for me. He’s a great lad and comes up and does a bit of riding at Dundalk for us. Patrick J McKenna

After race at Tipperary Tue, 28th May, 2024 (1st)  He is coming to himself and we knew it was in him, as Joey (Sheridan) assured me. As the song goes, it's a long way to Tipperary, especially from our house, but it was worth the three and a half hours trip. Joey didn't want to push him early on and I thought he was in trouble but he said he picked up going to the line and that's what you want. He is a lovely horse and we just buy low grade horses and try to improve them a bit. He has come to himself and hopefully can win another one. He wants those fast tracks as he has a bit of speed.
