Cheltenham Tips

I thought this horse would be rated a lot higher by now. He was disappointing and was hanging in his races. Thanks to (vet) Ger Kelly he spotted a thing with kissing spines after his last run. We had him treated for it and it seems to have made a difference. He didn't hang today and did everything right. He had a good run when he was beaten a neck in a Curragh nursery last year and he was working like one of our best two-year-olds in the autumn. He came here on his first run this year and ran badly. We brought him over the Ger and he found the problem. I thought he'd be a horse in the mid 70s, at least, by now. Hopefully there is more to come. It's only three weeks since he was done and he should improve a bit from the run. We didn't do a lot with him since.
