Roman Impero masterful on polytrack
Roman Impero readily justified 1/2 favouritism with a clear-cut victory in the seven furlong maiden for three-year-olds in Dundalk. Fri 08th Jan
He's not a flashy worker but when it comes to the racecourse he has been different. He's progressive and an improving horse. The 7lb claim was a big help.
J P Murtagh
he'd a nice run in Dundalk but had sore shins after it. His last couple of runs have been progressive, and it's nice to get a three-year-old maiden winner. It all worked out nicely, and Connor felt when he pulled him out he was always going to win. He's a solid, tough little horse and will go for handicaps. I'd like him to stay on 72!
