< Raymonda put in a disappointing performance as Queen Catrine sprang a surprise in the Irish Stallion Farms E.B.F. Brownstown Stakes at Killarney.

Dermot Weld's 4-5 favourite was well beaten in fourth as Ger Lyons' second string made all under Gary Carroll at odds of 14-1.

It looked as though the winner would be reeled in when Most Beautiful came to challenge a furlong out, but Queen Catrine showed a fantastic attitude to fend off the David Wachman-trained runner and score by a head.

That completed a double for Lyons after his Noivado justified 7-4 favouritism in the opening Irish Stallion Farms E.B.F. Median Auction Maiden.

As long-time leader Anna May Wong looked to hang on, Ger Lyons' charge came with a powerful late burst down the centre to claim the spoils by half a length from fellow fast finisher Hunaina

Lyons brought up the hat-trick when Lustrous Light saw (6-5) off the challenge of Cook Island by two and a half lengths in the closing Next Racing At Fairyhouse September 27th Race.

Lyons was denied another winner in the dying strides of the Coral.ie Handicap over six furlongs as his Greek Canyon picked up by Deeds Not Words and Fast In The Wind (7-1), who landed the gold medal by half a length.

Bumper winner Not A Whisper added the Irish Stallion Farms E.B.F. Maiden over seven furlongs to her CV as she held the late lunge of Katiymann by a neck to score at 4-1.

Johnny Murtagh got the scoresheet when Time To Reason made all with ease in the seven-furlong Coral.ie Handicap.

7lb claimer Denis Linehan sent the 4-1 chance straight to the front and never looked like being caught as he crossed the line two and a half lengths ahead of Indrahar < Ebasani (11-1) stayed on well to take the Dublin's Q102 Apprentice Handicap by a length a quarter from Melanna
