Dinoblue was very good today although I was hoping that Allegorie might get her own back after Cheltenham but it wasn’t going to be that way. Allegorie (a dual Grade 2 winner) is in foal to Jukebox Jury so she’s retired now. Dinoblue looks to be getting better and better and hopefully we have her for next season. I don’t see her going to stud for a while yet.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into the circumstances surrounding the late arrival of D. Meyler, the declared rider of Broomfield Bijou, necessitating a change of rider. D. Meyler stated that the very heavy traffic caused long delays getting to the course today. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards accepted the explanation given
S. Ewing, rider of Broomfield Bijou, trained by J.P.Dempsey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
