Permission was given for Gone Rogue (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.

Following the race, Edward Greatrex reported that WE’RENOTREALLYHERE, unplaced, never travelled and the Veterinary Officer reported that Toussarok (GB), unplaced, bled from the nose.

THE GET RACEDAY READY HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6) Permission was given for ROVINIA to be mounted on the course and to go to post early wearing a red hood and for ROMAN SPRING (IRE) to be mounted on the course and to wear a red hood to post.

An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference approximately one furlong out, involving the winner, ROMAN SPRING (IRE), ridden by Kieran O’Neill and HAVEAGOBEAU, placed second, ridden by Jack Dace.

The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved ROMAN SPRING (IRE)’s placing as HAVEAGOBEAU was initially carried off its intended line approximately half a furlong out, thereafter it appeared to drift independently down the camber despite Dace’s best efforts.

The Stewards could not be satisfied that, with an uninterrupted run to the line, HAVEAGOBEAU would have finished in front of ROMAN SPRING (IRE), as the ground and momentum lost was less than the distance of a head at the finish.

O’Neill was cautioned for careless riding as he initially allowed his mount to drift left- handed, without timely correction, resulting in HAVEAGOBEAU being taken off its intended off its intended line.

Following the race, Jack Doughty reported that BIG TIME RASCAL, placed fifth, hung left-handed.
