Permission was given for Tea Sea (FR) to go early to post and for Ciotog (IRE) and Harlem Nights (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong involving Pursuit Of Truth, unplaced, ridden by Billy Loughnane, Harlem Nights (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Lewis Edmunds and Prince Ali (GB), unplaced, ridden by Robert Havlin.
The interference was found to be accidental as HARLEM KNIGHTS (IRE) edged right-handed away from the whip before being quickly corrected, resulting in a weakening Prince Ali (GB) becoming caught on the heels of Pursuit Of Truth (IRE) to its outside, having being intimidated off its line, resulting in Havlin having to take a precautionary check.
Following the race, Edward Greatrex reported that Ciotog (IRE), placed third, was slowly away from the stalls.
