Permission was given for Begin The Luck (IRE) to go to post early wearing a red hood.
The performance of Time To Bite (IRE) which finished fifth of six runners, beaten 19 ¼ lengths, was considered.
Chris Honours' explanation that the gelding was unsuited by the Going, officially described as Heavy and that the gelding would prefer a quicker surface, was noted.
The winner, Pooroldmackley (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Hereford on 26 March 2025 where the gelding finished third of five runners, beaten by 24 lengths.
Evan Williams' representative’s explanation that the gelding benefitted from a return to a slower surface, officially described as Heavy, was noted.
Pooroldmackley (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Begin The Luck (IRE), placed second, lost its right-hind shoe.
