Fentiman was suspended for 4 days for improper riding as he manoeuvred Harlequin Bay (GB) right-handed when it ought to have been obvious that in doing so interference would occur, giving a bump to Lovethiswayagain (IRE) and moving the filly off its intended line.
Following the race, Pat Cosgrave reported that Lucky Sevens (GB), unplaced, ran too free in the early stages and Jack Doughty reported that Follow My Heart (GB), unplaced, was slowly away.
