Formscan By Tom Weekes - Course-specialist TEED UP has already won six times at today’s course and should again compete, with testing ground in his favour. Although well held on the Flat last month, he had previously performed well when contesting three races in a week at this summer’s festival, and comes here a fresher horse. Veteran top weight Shoot First is a smart performer on his day and while suited by conditions, might again have Haydock in his sights next month. Stay Gold is long absent but can compete from his rating, while cross-country specialist Stumptown will benefit from today’s pipe-opener.
