Formscan By Mark Nunan - JAGGED EDGE (1) has a 3lb penalty for last month’s Listed win at Killarney, but his prospects are enhanced by drying ground and he hasn’t had that much racing this year. The Blue Point gelding might be able to follow up here under Jack Kearney. Also a stakes winner at Killarney, Meriden was beaten just five lengths in the Matron Stakes 10 days ago, but she’s done plenty this term and may have to give best to fresher rivals. Joseph O’Brien’s French import Qualixa was a stakes winner over 1m2f at Fontainebleau when last seen in November, while Cristal Clere was suited by heavy ground when landing last year’s renewal and might struggle on the anticipated sound surface. %0A%0A%0A
