FormscanBy Stuart Howden - The concluding race of the day looks an open affair and the vote goes to BALLYBOLLEN (1) for trainer Henry de Bromhead. The trainer has enjoyed numerous bumper successes this season and, with jockey John Gleeson on board, that's a further vote of confidence. Tommys Ticket ran well for a long way on his first start at Kilbeggan and probably paid the price for being slightly keen early. That experience can provide some improvement. The Peter Fahey-trained Ealu Tapa was well supported on debut and can be competitive if improving on his first start at Punchestown in a race that looks to have contained some nice types.
