'Big show' expected from Morning Run Connections of Morning Run expect her to put a Christmas blip behind her in the OLBG.com Mares' Hurdle at Doncaster on Saturday. The Willie Mullins-trained seven-year-old looked a potential heir to her illustrious stable companion Annie Power after winning her first six starts, but tasted defeat for the first time when finishing a distant third on her first run in almost a year at Leopardstown last month. Mullins' son and assistant, Patrick, is confident she can right that wrong in a race won two years ago by Annie Power. "She obviously didn't fire at all at Christmas and I think it was just too bad to be true," said Mullins. "She's shown at home that she has trained on - her work has been very good and we're delighted with her. "I'm hoping Leopardstown was just an off-day, that can happen with mares and it was her first one. "We wouldn't be bringing her to England if we weren't confident she would put up a big show and I'll be disappointed if she doesn't get back to winning ways." Morning Run is joined on the trip from Ireland by the Jessica Harrington-trained Rock On The Moor, who was 13 lengths ahead of the Mullins mare when runner-up to stablemate Keppols Queen at Leopardstown. Harrington said: "She needed her run at Christmas as I hadn't been able to get a run into her beforehand after a few races were called off. " I'm not worried about the ground for her - she goes on anything. "The distance might just be a bit short, but we'll see. "I'm told she's in good form" The home challenge includes Lily Waugh, winner of her last three starts for Anthony Honeyball, and Brian Ellison's Smart Talk, who authoritatively landed a Haydock Listed event last time. Ellison said: "She's a good, solid mare and she's improving all the time. "It's a tough race, but she's entitled to go there and I'm not bothered about the ground." Intense Tango, Donna's Pride and Pass The Time complete the line-up.
