Adrian Joyce's pair Majestic Timeline (5/2 fav) and Times In Anatefka (3/1) were dominant in the Crowne Plaza Hotel Race & Stay Handicap and it was the former that edged the argument in Dundalk's opener under Chris Hayes.

The two 'big guns' were always to the fore travelling well with Times In Anatefka looking to be going a bit better when things 'hotted-up' in the final quarter mile.

However Times In Anatefka is still a maiden and Majestic Timeline called on her previous race winning experience (three successes to her name already) to get the job done by half a length.

Curraghaboy, County Roscommon-based Joyce explained: "She's got me noticed as a trainer as she's won four times for me now. She's only been out of the frame once – at Bellewstown – and that was my own fault for running her.

"She seems to travel well and hopefully she'll keep improving. She'll come back here in two or three weeks time.

"The two of them are half-sisters. The other filly (Times In Anatefka) is coming along nicely as well. They'll get another run each and then they'll both be finished until next summer."

Mark Kerrigan from Carlow owns Majestic Timeline and former Paddy Power Chase winning jockey Joyce reflected on his new career when remarking: "I'm pleased with the start I've made having had the licence since January." (GC & EM)
