150 up at Cheltenham for Nicholls Oscargo was Paul Nicholls' 150th Cheltenham winner in the Citipost Handicap Hurdle. The 4-6 favourite was held up by Ruby Walsh but looked to be floundering at the top of the hill in the three-mile contest. However, Walsh galvanised his mount and the pair made good headway between the third last and second last. By the time they jumped the last hurdle it was all over and Oscargo powered up the hill to beat Kayf Aramis by nine lengths. "I had no idea we were that close until a few days ago but I love having winners here and it's fantastic," said Nicholls. "Oscargo is a real stayer and wants a fence. The owner dreams that one day he'll run in a National and we'll now go novice chasing. "He should have won his only point-to-point and was very green the last day too. If he had enough experience something like the National Hunt Chase might suit."
