18 entered for Thursday's Clonmel Oil Chase

The Paul Nicholls' trained Gwanako is one of eighteen entries for Thursday's Grade 2 contest at Clonmel.

Gwanako, not been seen since falling at Valentine's Brook in the Topham Chase at Aintree in April, is likely to meet some old friends if he makes the trip over on Thursday. Two former Nicholls' trained chasers are also among the entries.

Gungadu now trained by Gordon Elliot and Natal from the James Lambe stable spent their formative years with Nicholls.

Other notable entries are last year's winner Glenfinn Captain and Snowy Morning, J'y Vole and Scotsirish from the Willie Mullins yard.
