On others in his string the Tu Va handler reflected: "Disko has come out of his race in the north very well and will probably run again before Christmas. He has an entry in the Durkan.
"Road To Respect has also come out of his race well but it's pretty well decided that he won't run again until the Lexus."
The Stewards fined J.A. Nash, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Alfred Eile , in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91.
The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.
The Stewards interviewed Patrick Downey, trainer of Melly And Me , concerning the conduct of this horse who became unruly at the start and was withdrawn for refusing to line up.
Having viewed the video and considered the evidence, the Stewards suspended the horse from racing for a period of sixty days having taken the horse's previous record into account.
The Stewards enquired into the running and riding of Featherinyourcap (GB), ridden by M.A. Enright, and trained by Denis W. Cullen.
Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned. M.A. Enright, stated that this horse is quite highly strung and was having his first run today.
His instructions were to get him relaxed, get him popping and ride a race from there.
The horse was a little unruly at the start and threw his head around early in the race.
His mount missed the fourth last and got very tired between the last two hurdles at which stage he made a respiratory noise.
Denis W. Cullen, confirmed the instructions to the rider. He stated that the horse is quite difficult to train, can be unruly and races with a high head-carriage.
The horse has been hobdayed, has wind issues and raced with a tongue tie today.
He was as fit as he could be for his racecourse debut but having wind issues he may have struggled in the testing going in the home straight.
The Stewards also received a report from the Turf Club Veterinary Officer who stated that the horse was post race normal but gave a good blow.
Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanations.
Furthermore, the Stewards found M.A. Enright in breach of Rule 213 by failing to report something which may have affected the horse's running and having taken his good record into account, the Stewards cautioned the rider regarding his future responsibilities in this regard. .
M.A. Enright, rider of Featherinyourcap (GB), trained by Denis W. Cullen, reported to the Stewards that his mount made a respiratory noise in the home straight.
The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Featherinyourcap (GB), trained by Denis W. Cullen, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal but gave a good blow.
