Last year's hero Jack The Bus is in again whilst another local contender could be Noel Meade's Cross Appeal. Gordon Elliott has Tharawaat in whilst another County Meath trainer, Tony Martin (won it in 2007 with Royal County Star) has Askmeroe in. Others to catch the eye are the progressive Groody Hill, Leggy Lad and Stonemaster, who has been handed an initial assessment over fences of 119.
