3-day Bellewstown Festival this weekend One of Ireland's oldest Summer racing festivals begins this Friday at Bellewstown in Co. Meath. Records of racing taking place on the ‘Hill of Crockafatho’ date back to 1726. Admission is €15 on each of the three days racing with a number of special packages available. Senior Citizens and Students pay €8 while children accompanied by an adult are free. The race committee headed by Manager Kevin Coleman have put together an impressive array of entertainment to compliment the action on the track. TV3's Xpose presenter Lisa Cannon will judge a best dressed lady competition on the Friday. Racing on Saturday will be followed by a concert from Crystal Swing. Sunday is Family Day and among the attractions will be an Animal Petting Farm.
