4 months ban for Rob James Amateur rider Rob James has had his Qualified Riders licence suspended by the Referrals Committee of the IHRB for 12 months with the last eight months suspended. James was found to be in breach of rule 272 (i) in that he acted in a manner which was prejudicial to the integrity, proper conduct and good reputation of horse racing following his involvement in a video posted on social media last week which showed him disrespecting the remains of a dead horse. The Committee also noted that James has stated to the Committee that he will not attend a race meeting or a point-to-point for the four month period of his suspension. The detailed decision of the Committee will be published on Thursday by the IHRB. Mr. Robert James (Rider/Handler) Referral Hearing pic.twitter.com/97TrK4zPmp— IHRB (@ihrb_ie) March 10, 2021
