€50,000 up for grabs on Galway Plate Super Trifecta To mark the 150th anniversary of the Galway Plate the race sponsors Tote Ireland are guaranteeing the Trifecta pool on the big race for €50,000 next week. Tote Ireland sponsors the entire card at Galway next Wednesday including the iconic €300,000 Plate and have designated the big race as a Super Trifecta which means all Trifectas pools not won over the last two weeks have been rolling over to Wednesday's race. The current rollover stands at €21,157 and is set to grow further between now and race 5 on Wednesday. In order to win the Trifecta punters have to select the first three finishers in the race in the correct order, no easy feat for next Wednesday's race where 22 runners are set to face the starter. The final race on Wednesday, Play The Tote Superfecta Handicap over two miles and 110 yards, will see Tote's newest bet the Superfecta played at Galway for the first time. To win the Superfecta punters are required to select the first four finishers in the correct order. The current Superfecta pool stands at €8,395 with a guaranteed minimum pool value of €15,000.
