7mm of rain at Leopardstown

There was a welcome 7mm of overnight rain at Leopardstown and the ground remains yielding on all tracks.

The weather is set to be bright, breezy and cool today. Saturday is forecast to be overcast with a strong breeze with rain in the afternoon continuing into Saturday night (10-12mm approx).

A damp start to Sunday will be followed by an overcast day. Selective watering is taking place on the chase track this morning and, in all, over 200mm of irrigation has been applied since Christmas.
