Longines Hong Kong Vase which takes place at Sha Tin racecourse on Sunday 10th December. Aidan O'Brien has four possible contenders, Cliffs Of Moher, Idaho, Seventh Heaven and 2015 race winner Highland Reel. Willie Mullins has entered three horses, Max Dynamite, Thomas Hobson and Wicklow Brave. Joseph O'Brien's Rekindling and Dermot Weld's Eziyra complete the Irish trained entries for the race. Other Irish trained entries for the International Races on the same card are Gordon Lord Byron, Lancaster Bomber and Roly Poly in the HKD$23m Hong Kong Mile where they are likely to face a strong British contingent headed by Ribchester. Tom Hogan has also entered Gordon Lord Byron in the Hong Kong Sprint (HKD$18.5m) along with the Aidan O'Brien trained pair Intelligence Cross and Washington DC. Gordon Lord Byron has run three times before on the Longines International Card at Sha Tin finishing in 4th place each time - 2012 and 2013 in the Mile and 2014 in the Sprint.
