The 2/9 favourite A Dream To Share ultimately had little difficulty in following up last month's Tipperary victory in the Castlecoote (Pro/Am) Flat Race.

Winning rider John Gleeson gave the Muhaarar gelding, a half-brother to last month's Curragh Listed winner Raise You, plenty to do and had to get after him two furlongs out as he was making slightly heavy weather of picking up the leaders. He was in front just under a furlong out, though, and in the end his rider was able to take things easy as John Kiely's charge accounted for Fiveonefive by two and a quarter lengths. Jaariam finished a further six lengths away in third.

“I'm very happy with him. We think he's a very nice horse," said Gleeson.

“He won very impressively the first day in Tipperary and we thought coming today it looked like a nice opportunity to grab a second one.

“He ran a bit green in places up the straight but once I gave him a tap he fairly straightened up and he quickened up really nicely.

“He's going to be a nice horse for the future. We're lucky to have him.”
