A look ahead to the Round Tower Stakes Jessica Harrington's promising youngster Landshark steps up in class for the Plusvital Round Tower Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday. The Bated Breath colt looked a juvenile with a real future after wining a Leopardstown maiden earlier this month. Having looked in a spot of bother at one stage, once he saw clear daylight he quickened up smartly to win with plenty in hand. After the race Harrington described him as a "lovely" horse and his American owners could be set for some fun. The clear standard is set by Aidan O'Brien's US Navy Flag, who will be lining up for his eighth race of the season. Second in the July Stakes at Newmarket to Mark Johnston's Cardsharp, he was far from disgraced when fourth to stablemate Sioux Nation in the Pheonix Stakes. Johnny Murtagh fields two, Golden Spell and Sankari Royale. Both are fillies, as are five of the eight runners. Dermot Weld is represented by Betsey Trotter, second on her debut two weeks ago, Ger Lyons runs Ball Girl, impressive at Roscommon in breaking her maiden while Jim Bolger runs Gasta. The field is completed by John James Feane's Youareiffraaj.
