Abbyssial all set for Auteuil assignment Willie Mullins believes Punchestown Festival winner Abbyssial has a "major chance" of claiming another big prize in the Prix Alain Du Breil at Auteuil this afternoon. The champion trainer claimed the Grade One contest with Diakali last year and Abbyssial appears to hold similarly strong claims following a brilliant display in the Champion Four Year Old Hurdle at Punchestown last month. Mullins also fields smart filly Gitane Du Berlais, who won a Fairyhouse Grade Three on her penultimate start before finishing third in the Prix Questarabad at Auteuil. The winner of that race, Roll On Has, and second home Ambroise reoppose in this 10-strong field. Mullins said: "Gitane Du Berlais is worse off with the winner of the race the last day, so it will be very difficult for her to turn that form around. "However, she ran well enough to warrant a return visit and hopefully she might get into the prize-money. "Abbyssial was very impressive in Punchestown after falling at Cheltenham and a reproduction of the Punchestown run would give him a major chance. "The fact that he had previous experience of the track before we bought him is another plus and the trip of almost two and a half miles will also be in his favour."
