Amateur jockey killed while cutting trees

Seventeen year old amateur jockey Ryan Cusack has died today in an accident while cutting trees in Co Limerick.

It is understood Cusack, due to celebrate his 18th birthday next Wednesday, February 26th., fell from a trailer attached to a tractor.

Gardai confirmed the incident happened at around 11:45am this morning at Howardstown House, a stud farm owned by trainer Enda Bolger.
