Anthem aims to hit right Ascot notes Anthem Alexander heads the Irish challenge for the inaugural Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot on Friday. Limato is also one of 26 sprinters in contention. Henry Candy's exciting youngster stretched his unbeaten record to five when making a successful reappearance over the course and distance in April, but suffered the first reverse of his career in last month's Sandy Lane Stakes at Haydock at the hands of Adaay. The two are set to do battle once more in the first running of this three-year-old-only Group One, with bookmakers expecting Limato to gain revenge on his William Haggas-trained opponent. Wesley Ward's American raider and Breeders' Cup hero Hootenanny returns to Berkshire following his victory in the Windsor Castle Stakes 12 months ago, while other interesting contenders include Hugo Palmer's Home Of The Brave, the John Gosden-trained Tendu and Muhaarar from Charlie Hills' stable
