Appeared another to score before sales date Ballydoyle colt Appeared produced a fine front-running performance to get off the mark at the third time of asking in the Final Furlong Podcast Maiden at the Curragh. Wayne Lordan asked his mount to assert passing the two pole and the Justify colt stuck on well in the closing stages to post a half-length win over Portnahapple. The 2/1 winner had been mid-division on his debut at Navan early last month before an improved showing to finish third here 19 days ago. Stable representative Chris Armstrong said:- “He had a lovely run here the last day and stepped forward. “He’ll be even better when he gets on to quicker ground. He’s in the horses-in-training sale at Newmarket next week and would be a good buy for going abroad on quick ground. “Over a mile-and-a-quarter or a mile-and-a-half there are plenty of races to be won with him. It’s nice to get him a winning bracket here before he goes and Wayne gave him a lovely ride.”
