Appleby considering Staffordstown raid Kazimiera is in contention for a trip to the Curragh for Sunday's Staffordstown Stud Stakes. The daughter of Dubawi made a successful start to her career at Ascot and is also in the Dubai Fillies' Mile at Newmarket on Friday. However, trainer Charlie Appleby is looking forward to Sobetsu strutting her stuff at the top level in that race, with Grecian Light another potential runner, although she is in the visionsport.com Oh So Sharp Stakes on the same card too. Of Sobetsu, Appleby told At The Races: "She progressed from her maiden and was very impressive at Newmarket. "She's come out of the race well and it looks like it's going to be lovely conditions and we're looking forward to pitching her in. "With Grecian Light we're more likely to look at the Oh So Sharp. "We're still contemplating about Kazimiera. We've got her in on Sunday in Ireland as well. We'll just see what the ground is there. "She's another nice Dubawi filly that is going the right way."
