Arc Not A Priority For Fawn

Aidan O'Brien has stated the the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe is not a priority for his multiple Group One-winning filly Peeping Fawn.

After chasing home Henry Cecil's Light Shift in the Oaks at Epsom in June, she has notched up victories in the Pretty Polly Stakes, the Nassau Stakes and the Yorkshire Oaks.

However, with Dylan Thomas looking like being Ballydoyle's primary hope for the showpiece race, O'Brien said: 'She's in the Arc and a lot will depend on how things go with the colts we are looking at running in the race, but it's not a priority for her at this stage.

'She is in the Prix Vermeille next weekend but we might decide to wait and run her next in the Prix de l'Opera.'

But one Ballydoyle inmate is still under consideration for the Arc, Irish Derby winner Soldier Of Fortune.

'He had a long break after the Irish Derby but he's in good form and the plan is to run him on Sunday (in the Prix Foy),' O'Brien told the Racing Post.

'We'll see how he gets on at Longchamp and we will have plenty of options for him later in the season, including possibly the Arc.'
