Arctic Jack tops National weights

A maximum field of 30 will face the starter in the Powers Gold Label Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse on Easter Monday, with British raider Arctic Jack heading the weights which have been raised by 13lb.

Sue Smith´s charge, a faller at the first at Aintree last Saturday, is joined by the Ferdy Murphy-trained Granit D´Estruval, one of eight horses out of the handicap proper.

Xenophon, the mount of Davy Russell, heads a very open market with Paddy Powers at 9/1, closely followed by last year´s winner Timbera, Native Jack and Hume Castle all on 10/1.
