Arouet reversed places from his debut run at Cork with Nautical Force to land the Irish Stallion Farms EBF 3YO Spring Series Median Auction Race, the €30,000 feature at Roscommon. Green Triangle set the pace in this 1m2f event and was strongly pressed in the straight with Arouet striking the front over a furlong out.

The 7/4 favourite kept on well inside the final 150 yards for Billy Lee to beat Nautical Force by a comfortable two lengths, with Waterford Flow a further length and a quarter back in third.

Winning trainer Paddy Twomey said, “He’s a nice horse and all of mine on debut can be fairly green. He stepped forward nicely from his debut and I think he’s a horse with a bit of talent. I’m delighted the way he won.

“I’d say he’s pretty versatile ground wise. I don’t think he wants really fast ground and I think he’s a horse that will continue to improve.

“That’s a nice trip for now and he’ll probably go further being by Galiway.”
