Askanna hit the front two furlongs from home, under Barry O'Neill, and kept on strongly to score by a length-and-a-half from Raz De Maree
There was drama at the top of the hill with front-running Bright Side Oflife falling under John Thomas McNamara.
"She's a tough mare. The 2m4f was a help as she's won two point-to-points and stayed at it," said Bowe.
