Assembly has Irish National option Morning Assembly is back in training, with the Irish Grand National in the spring a possible long-term objective. A very smart novice for Pat Fahy last season, he finished third in the RSA Chase and at the Punchestown Festival. Although a hold-up has so far prevented him from running this season, Fahy can now offer a much more upbeat bulletin on Morning Assembly's well-being. "He's had a little setback and is just starting to ride out now," said the Co Carlow handler. "I'm hoping to have him ready for something like the Irish National. "He's a horse that doesn't carry too much condition so he doesn't take that much work."
