It was a welcome winner for the Gavin Cromwell team as Asthelightdeclines put in a good performance to take victory in the www.Tramoreraces.ie Maiden hurdle for jockey Keith Donoghue. The four-year-old daughter of Order Of St George had shown bits of promise in her starts so far but was much better today as she ran out a length and a half winner over the Ross O'Sullivan-trained Dusky Might, with a good leap at the last securing victory. The Gordon Elliott-trained Llem's (4/5) made a blunder two out, which all but knocked his chances.

Speaking after the race, winning rider Donoghue said: "She done it well. I don't think everything went right in the race but she won anyway. I didn't have a great position, she was a little bit behind the bridle. I took the chance that I'd get the better start on the inside but I didn't. She just didn't travel with me. Hopefully there's a bit more to come even though I was all out at the line. She's only four so hopefully she can improve."
