Aura leads home Mulvany one-two in claimer The well-backed Borora Aura led home a one-two for Mick Mulvany in the opening optional claimer at Bellewstown this afternoon. Terry Casey soon grabbed the lead on the 4/1 shot, who was as big as 20/1 this morning. He asked his mount for an effort a furlong-and-a-half from home and the Coulsty filly kept on well in the closing stages to hold stablemate Storzando for a length-and-a-quarter success. The 47-rated winner had been third in handicap company at Clonmel a fortnight ago. Casey said: "She ran over a mile and one in Clonmel last time out. She doesn't have many gears but, in fairness, she is tough out and will keep going for us. "She did (keep finding) and the track probably suited her as well with a bit of toe in the ground - it seemed to do the job for her. "Most of Mick's horses like it soft, nearly the heavier the better. They seem to find an extra gear in it. The more rain that came, the happier I was getting. Lucky enough my one handled it well."
