Autumn Agenda For Percy

Sir Percy has resumed light exercise to be prepared for an autumn campaign comprising a tilt at either the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe or the Champion Stakes.

Jarred up after landing the Vodafone Derby in a nailbiting finish with Dragon Dancer and Dylan Thomas, the three-year-old is being given a break following what Marcus Tregoning described as 'two very hard races'.

'He was a bit jarred up after the Derby and had two pretty tough races in the Guineas and at Epsom,' the Lambourn trainer explained.

'We are looking at the prospect of him possibly staying in training next year and for that reason there's no hurry.

'He's being ridden at exercise and is in lots of races, including the Arc and the Champion.'
