BACCHANAL FOR REYNOLDSTOWN Bacchanal heads the 10 entries published today for the Gerrard Reynoldstown Novices` Chase at Ascot on Saturday. The Nicky Henderson-trained seven-year-old, winner of last season`s Bonusprint Stayers` Hurdle at Cheltenham, has won both his starts over fences at Newbury and Kempton in good style to earn a quote of 3-1 from Ladbrokes for the Royal & SunAlliance Chase at this year`s Festival. Henderson said: 'He`s fine and goes for the Reynoldstown.' Broiswink, who is trained in France by Guillaume Macaire and scored at Folkestone last month on his British debut, is another interesting entry in the extended three-mile contest. The six-year-old is also entered in the Shenley Enterprises Novices` Chase over an extended two miles and three furlongs later on the card. Charlie Egerton has put Killusty in the Stg£35,000 event but the Lambourn trainer said the horse was a doubtful runner. And it is also unlikely that Paul Nicholls will saddle Buccaneer Boy. 'I doubt he`ll run looking at the opposition and will probably go to either Taunton on Thursday or Sandown on Friday,' Nicholls said. 'He`s going the right way but I don`t know whether he`s up to beating the likes of Bacchanal so we might take the realistic option.'Entries: Bacchanal, Bindaree, Black Dante, Broiswink, Buccaneer Boy, Crocadee, Hannigan`s Lodger, Killusty, Major Adventure, Mighty Kilcash.
