Back-to-back 'double carpet' winners at Wexford A course and distance maiden winner on her previous outing in May, Dromara Mist followed up at 33/1 in Wexford’s Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Hurdle over two and a half miles. The outsider of seven runners, the Poet’s Word filly reeled in longtime leader Baymount two out and after the latter blundered there, Alice Power’s mount outstayed Diamond Tipp on the run-in to win by a length and a quarter. "She's probably only eighty per cent fit to be honest with you, and we thought she’d take the run,” said winning trainer Patrick John Kiely. “I'd say we have a good mare. My wife Sara and a friend’s wife own a leg of her each. Paul Quinlan is a man there with me, 10 of the lads working for him own the other half. That's kind of the way it works."
