Ballinrobe called off This evening’s meeting at Ballinrobe has been called off after further rain left the track unfit for racing. Clerk of the Course Shane Ryder said:- “Following our inspection this morning, unfortunately we have deemed the track at Ballinrobe unfit for racing today and the fixture scheduled this evening has been cancelled. “We had a further 13mm of rain overnight, which was slightly more than the forecast and has left water lying in some parts of the track. There is the chance of further rainfall throughout the day with another 5-6mm possible. “It’s a disappointing outcome but the team at Ballinrobe will now liaise with Horse Racing Ireland to reschedule the fixture in due course.”
