Ballinrobe preview Following his almost complete annexation of the Punchestown Festival, Totally Dominant is a well-named contender for Willie Mullins in the P & D Lydon Plant Hire Rated Hurdle at Ballinrobe on Tuesday. Mullins racked up a string of big-race wins last week and while Totally Dominant would not be in the same league as the likes of Faugheen or Un De Sceaux, he scored at Thurles last time out and is sure to be a popular pick in this two-mile-one-furlong event. The Closutton handler also fields Valyssa Monterg but Ruby Walsh rides Totally Dominant, with Danny Mullins on his stable companion. Mullins and Walsh team up with Childrens List in the opening Connaught Telegraph Maiden Hurdle. Winner of a bumper at Tramore last time, the five-year-old was also successful in point-to-point company so tackling obstacles under Rules should hold few fears. The Gatechecker was disappointing on his first hurdles outing at Limerick but he impressed in a bumper run and clearly has some ability. Mullins fields Vedettariat in the Killeen Sports Grounds Beginners Chase, and his team is completed by newcomer Contempt Of Court in the Connacht Spring Show 17th May INH Flat Race. The Treacy's Pharmacy Handicap Chase is the feature contest and the consistent Crown Theatre will try to better his latest Limerick second. He is slightly better off at the weights with the victor that day Boher Call, who is one of four last-start scorers in the competitive heat. Deano also struck on his most recent appearance and he tops the weights for the At The Races Handicap Hurdle. By The Banks brings winning form to the first division of Hollymount Nursing Home Handicap Hurdle, as do Miss Peacetime and Luckynumberslevin in the second division.
