Barefoot shoots into the final for Hennessy Barefoot Bullet raced into the English Greyhound Derby Final last night at Wimbledon as he finished second in the first semi-final for trainer Paul Hennessy. Hennessy tipped the dog after his Cheers Buddy won a flat handicap at Gowran on May 1st. The legendary Charlie Lister trained Taylors Sky, won the race equalling the track record (which he set himself) of 28.21secs, with Barefoot Bullet just three parts of a length back in second. Co Kildare trainer Dolores Ruth won the second semi-final as her Razldazl George came home two and quarter lengths clear in a time of 28.51secs. Barefoot Bullet has been drawn in trap five for the final with Razldazl George alongside in trap four. Paddy Powers bet the final: 7/4 Taylors Sky, 3/1 Barefoot Bullet, Razldazl George, 6/1 Westmead Guru, 8/1 Bright Redcliffe, 12/1 Cloheena Cash.
