Miracle Beauty was another fast finisher to land the spoils at Fairyhouse this afternoon, giving trainer Joseph O’Brien and jockey Joey Sheridan doubles on the card.

The Sioux Nation filly went to post a 14/1 shot in the fillies handicap over seven furlongs on her first start since a slightly disappointing effort at the Curragh back in May.

She had plenty to do passing the two pole but started to motor inside the final furlong for Sheridan, getting on top in the closing stages for a half-length win over Greatest Drama

O’Brien had also won the fillies maiden with Love Is Blind whole Joey Sheridan had been on the mark for trainer Fozzy Stack in the opening claimer aboard Utmost Good Faith

“She won nicely. She was a bit frustrating earlier in the year but had a summer freshen-up and likes a little bit of juice in the ground,” said O’Brien.

“She got a nice ride from Joey, the race set up well for her.

“We’ll probably have another shot at trying to get some black-type with her.”
