Bek Heading To Ireland Michael Jarvis has reported Hala Bek to have recovered from his Epsom exertions and on course for the Budweiser Irish Derby at the Curragh on Sunday week.The Halling colt looked an unlucky loser when a close fourth to Sir Percy in the Vodafone Derby at Epsom in only his second race.'He was tired for a couple of days afterwards, it was a big effort for him,' the Newmarket trainer told BBC Sport.'But he's freshened up well and did a nice piece of work a few days ago and will work again at the weekend and hopefully he's on course for Ireland.'(C) PA Sport
