Bellewstown next up for Orgilgo Bay Orgilgo Bay is set to revert to hurdles on his next appearance after a disappointing chasing debut at Tramore last month. Having finished in the first three on eight of his 11 starts over hurdles, earning a rating pushing 140, John McConnell's five-year-old looked like a good addition to the novice chasing ranks. However, he failed to convince in the jumping department on his first foray over fences in County Waterford and he is now being lined up for a valuable hurdle race at Bellewstown. McConnell said: "Orgilgo Bay just didn't take to fences when he ran at Tramore. He jumps hurdles well but is small and he'll go for the 26,000 euro handicap hurdle at Bellewstown. "He's in good nick and will like it around there."
