Berry draws level

Fran Berry has drawn level with Johnny Murtagh at the head of the Jockeys' Championship, having partnered Ebalista to win the Guillamene Maiden at Tramore today.

Berry had few anxious moments on the Aga Khan owned and bred filly, moving clear inside the final furlong for an easy four length win over Forest Mix.

The win moves Berry, who is chasing his first Championship, level on 73 winners with Murtagh, while Pat Smullen is just one behind the pair, on 72 wins. The season ends in early December at Dundalk.
