Berry to partner King's Vintage in Irish Oaks King's Vintage makes the giant leap from handicap company to bidding for Classic glory in the space of five days when she lines up for the Darley Irish Oaks at the Curragh on Sunday. Trainer Tom Mullins feels it is worth taking a chance with the improving daughter of King's Best after she won at Killarney by four and a half lengths on Tuesday. "She's come out of the race very well, she's progressing and we're just hoping for the best," said the Goresbridge trainer. "Any more rain would help her cause and she stays well. "Fran (Berry) rode her the other day and was very quick to learn about her and we're very glad to have him. He told us a few things about her after he rode her the other day."
